To offer you exclusive glimpses of this incredible place, we bring you a special 7 nights and 8 days tour of Kashmir. This tour will take you on an enchanting journey through the stunning landscapes of Gulmarg, Sonmarg, and Srinagar.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Katra

Upon arrival at Jammu Airport, you will be picked up and transported to Katra. After some rest, begin your trek to the Mata Vaishno Devi cave temple. During the journey, you will cross four main points: Banganga, Adhkuwari, Saanjhi Chatt, and finally, the cave. Inside the gufa, have the Darshan of Maa Vaishno Devi, represented by three pindies (idols) depicting Maa Sarswati, Ma Kali, and Ma Laxmi. After the Darshan, enjoy an overnight stay at Bhavna.

Day 2: Return to Katra

In the morning, return to Katra from Bhavan. The rest of the day is free for you to explore and enjoy your own activities. Overnight stay at a hotel in Katra.

Day 3: Drive to Pahalgam

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, a beautiful town situated at the confluence of streams from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River. On your way, visit the saffron fields and the ancient Awantipur ruins, a 1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma. Enjoy the scenic drive through pine forests and rice fields. Dinner and overnight stay in a Pahalgam hotel.

Day 4: Explore Pahalgam

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Chandanwadi (3288 meters), Betab Valley, and Aru Valley (at your own cost). Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag. After the tour, enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 5: Transfer to Gulmarg

After breakfast, transfer to Gulmarg, located at an altitude of 2730 meters above sea level. This beautiful hill resort has gently sloping topography and is located 57 km southwest of Srinagar. Gulmarg is famous for its skiing spots, especially Khilanmarg. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Kashmir valley and the Himalayan range from Khilanmarg. Dinner and overnight stay in a Gulmarg hotel.

Day 6: Shikara Ride and Mughal Gardens

After breakfast, check out and proceed for a one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Visit the Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Garden (Adobe of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), built by Asif Khan in 1632 AD. These gardens are located about 12 to 15 km from Srinagar, with the Zabarwan Mountain in the background. Later, check into a houseboat for dinner and an overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 7: Excursion to Sonmarg

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to Sonmarg, which means ‘Meadow of Gold.’ This beautiful place features snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. According to legend, there is a well in the valley whose water turns any substance into gold. Sonmarg lies in the Sindh valley, surrounded by flowers and mountains. It is also the base for interesting treks to high-altitude Himalayan lakes. Enjoy horse riding up to Thajiwas glacier and sledge riding on snow. Later, return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, carrying sweet and unforgettable memories with you.
